What is the job description?

The Service Delivery Consultant (SDC) will be responsible for providing project and program management activities to strategic projects for the research and development divisions of science based industries such as Pharma and Biotech, Chemicals, FMCG, Oil & Gas and Crop science. The SDC will help to develop new business for Zifo and participate in presale activities. The SDC will work with Business Users and Managers of our Customers in conjunction with the internal Zifo technical and support teams. The SDC will have the consulting skills required to collect and analyze customer needs & gaps and propose solutions to achieve the desired state.

What are the job responsibilities?

• Project and Service Delivery Management
  • Be the main point of contact for Zifo’s customers with regards to all project delivery activities
  • Coordinate activities between the various teams involved in projects (Zifo, Customers, Software Vendors)
  • Lead the Project Team
  • Carry out project management activities like planning, risk, resources and cost management
  • Ensure Service Delivery activities such as project financial reporting, service level management, customer sensing are maintained and up to date
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Service Delivery Management
  • Coach and mentor Junior Project Managers and Business Analysts
• Business analysis & consulting
  • Interact with business representatives and understand their problems / challenges
  • Capture and document business requirements: URS, FRS, User stories, Use cases, etc…
  • Data Analysis and Data Mining
  • Business Process & Data Modelling
  • Proposes and presents recommendations and improvements
• Business Development
  • Establish and manage the relationship with customers and partners
  • Identify and develop new opportunities in existing and new accounts
  • Present Zifo’s capability to be a R&D solutions partner

What is the required education/work experience?

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent in a scientific or health care field
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager/Analyst, preferably in the pharmaceutical /Life sciences industry
• Previous experience with working in large scale implementation projects
• Strong experience in R&D Informatics systems such as LIMS, ELN, SDMS
• Integration of instruments and system interfaces
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulation ( GxP, GAMP5, 21CFR Part11)
