Lead Consultant (Customer Success)
- Q. What is the job description?
The Lead Consultant (CE) will be responsible for growing key strategic accounts across the Zifo portfolio in the UK and Europe. Primarily the growth will be across R&D, Manufacturing and development divisions of pharmaceutical, biotech and other life science organisations to develop new business for Zifo. They will work with Business Users and Managers and the executive levels at our Customers in conjunction with the internal Zifo team. The ideal candidate will have the proven account management experience required to identify key customers and deliver first class consulting in order to develop key strategic relationships.
Q. What are the job responsibilities?
- Customer Portfolio Development
- Extensive knowledge of the Pharma – R&D, Manufactuing or Biotech domains
- To evaluate Industry trends enable further growth for Zifo
- Solid understanding of the current customer portfolio and scientific applications
- Identify and drive growth opportunities within the customer base
- Project Management, Programme Management and Account Management (Customer & Internal)
- New Business Development
- Establish and manage the relationship with new customers within new markets and territories
- Identify and develop new opportunities in existing and new accounts by promoting Zifo as a R&D solutions partner
- Manage a long term strategy for growth in the UK and Other countries
- Actively contribute towards the organizational targets
- Be a part of a dynamic and exciting consulting organisation
Q. What are the required skills?
- Strong Written and Oral communication skills
- Strong Business Development Skills
- Good Technical understanding of Science applications e.g. LIMS, ELN or other scientific software
- Proven account development experience with ability to build key strategic contacts
- Background in a services organization with program management knowledge
- Team player who can set and execute business development strategies
- Fiscal awareness & strategy planning
- Strong Program Management skills
- Experience of understanding customer needs in order to produce proposals / SOW’s
- Scope & Time Management
- Vendor Management
- Experience of CRM, Managing Forecast and Pipeline data
- Invoices Management
- Working closely with Service delivery

- Knowledge of 21CFR Part11 regulations
- Previous experience with Productivity tools such as VISIO, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Project
- Proven strategic account management and development with key contacts at strategic organisations
- Knowledge of emerging areas and technologies in the Science applications sector
- Previous experience with working in large scale implementation projects
Q. What is the required education/work experience?
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent in a scientific or health care field
- Proven experience as a program manager or business development role preferably in the pharmaceutical /Life sciences industry
- Strong experience in R&D Informatics systems such as LIMS, ELN, SDMS
- Good understanding of developments in the scientific applications arena
