What is the job description?
The Commercial Marketing Consultant will be responsible for growing Zifo’s customer portfolio in the UK & Europe. Primarily the growth will be in the research and development divisions of Pharma and Biotech, FMCG, Food & Beverage, and Chemical domains. They will work with CSM’s, SDM’s, PSM’s and senior management to further develop our business opportunities in the region through digital and field marketing activities in addition to developing our existing and new strategic alliances and partnerships. The ideal candidate will have proven product/partner/account management and the experience required to identify key event and campaign opportunities, market trends, new market growth areas and customer behaviors to enhance how Zifo engages and works with its customers and partners.
What are the job responsibilities?
- Commercial Marketing Consultant
- Define a region-specific marketing plan that supports the regional growth strategy.
- Evaluate Industry trends to identify areas for optimization
- Identify and drive growth opportunities within the existing and new customers for the partner platforms and products
- Plan and host online and offline events to create net-new sales opportunities, accelerate existing sales opportunities and deepen our existing customer relationships
- Strategize, build and execute integrated field campaigns that involve email marketing, direct mail marketing, and other channels as you see fit
- Assist regional commercial team as needed, including increasing brand awareness locally/regionally and driving leads and MQLs for the region
- Use our content management tool to build landing pages (for events, webinars, eBooks, etc.), and send automated and personalized behavioral emails
- Support various other marketing projects as needed
- Continuously gain a good understanding of the Scientific applications landscape and developments in the life science sector
- Supporting New Business Development
- Establish and manage the marketing relationship with partners
- Manage a long term strategy for growth in Europe
- Actively contribute towards the organizational targets of the partner
- Champion and contribute to the use of marketing tools and automation within Zifo
What are the required skills?
- Strong Written and Oral communication skills
- Data Mining
- Account Planning and Partner Management
- Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects and stakeholders at the same time
- Bachelor’s in marketing or related discipline
- 3+ years of related marketing experience, ideally in field marketing or sales enablement
- Proven Experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing strategy
- Experience partnering with business development teams
- Entrepreneurial and work well in a rapidly changing environment
- Creative, innovative, and always think outside the box
- Metric driven and have the ability to draw insight from complex marketing data
