The Consultant will support strategic projects primarily for pharmaceutical and Biotech clients. The Consultant will gather business requirements, analyse customer needs and gaps to propose solutions for the desired state. He or she will interface with business users and client managers in conjunction with the internal Zifo support team.

Core Responsibilities:

As a Solution Consultant, the person would perform the following primary duties:

• Review Business processes and systems
• Provide onsite Business Analysis support for scientific groups
• Maintain and provide implementation support for ELN / LIMS
• Evaluate Industry trends to identify areas for optimization.
• Develop recommendations and future state strategy
• Perform Gap Analysis, Define Future state process workflows and data models
• Produce and deliver required documents and reports to customers

Ideally you will have:

• ELN / LIMS product knowledge
• Lab instrumentation, scientific application and data integration knowledge
• Analysis and collection of Business Requirements.
• Must have knowledge of GMP
• Must be able to map business processes including tech transfer & assay protocols
• Must be able to perform data flow map and highlight data integrity risk

Excellent analytical and people skills as well as a proven history in systems design and implementation, have a proven ability to lead the activities of peers, and have demonstrated the ability to gain the trust of customers.

Thorough understanding in one or more of the following areas of the bio / pharmaceutical industry:

• Drug discovery and development processes
• Clinical trial design and data management
• Laboratory workflows
• Chemical & biologics materials management
• Sample management
• Robotic systems integration and qualification
• Operations KPI and metrics tracking.
• Be knowledgeable about relevant Regulations and standards that govern the development of technical solutions such as GLP, GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, Part 210, Part 820 regulations.

Technical Skills:

• Be familiar with at least one of the following operating systems: Unix, Windows, MVS.
• Familiar with software methodology: Object Oriented Programming, Structured Programming
• Familiar with software development process: Waterfall, Agile
• Change control management and risk management
• Office tools knowledge required in: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Office productivity tool knowledge in at least one of the following: Visio, MS Project, SharePoint
